Members of the Newport Community are volunteering their time, energy and resources to start an Ecstatic Dance in Newport. This is a FREE event though donations are always accepted and appreciated. The best way to show your support is by showing up and bringing a friend.

Ecstatic Dance Foundational Guidelines:

🚫 no talking

🚫 no phones

🚫 no substances!

🚫 no judgement

🚫 no shoes

‼️ Please note that during the dance, everything is consent based!! This dance is for yourself and you do NOT have to dance with anyone if you don’t want to.

💎 Structure: We will open the dance with a cup of cacao by Community Cacao and get present in our bodies while we share our intentions. A yoga offering by Maggie Mason will follow so we can stretch before we get down. The circle will be closed with a sound bath integration by Chezarae Zeitler.

Sound equipment is donated by Greggy Good and music magic curation is by Eames of Love Defeats Fear.

Bring a yoga mat, BIG water bottle, layers (for later during shivasana sound bath) & a MUG!
